Debunking the Myths of Organic Foods: 2021 Edition

As we move towards a more all-organic diet, we should know that there are still many myths related to the consumption of organic foods. While doing our research, we came up with these myths and tried to debunk them through this blog.

Organic Farming means the protection of wildlife.

Now, this had to be on top. People believe it all the time. While organic food does not use synthetic chemicals and additional preservatives, it still does not save wildlife. Humans still need to cut down millions of trees and forests to adapt to organic Farming.

Organic Farming does not use even 1% pesticides.

Yes, you heard it right. Foods like Organic Moringa Oleifera use a few fungicides and pesticides for optimum growth. There are about 20 such chemicals that are approved as per the organic standards of the US. So, this might be a myth that organic foods are grown with absolutely no chemicals. However, the chemicals used are not as bad for our health as synthetic chemicals.

Organic food is overpriced.

Well, this one is one of the most important and spread-out myths of organic foods. As one of the most recommended Vanilla Beans Supplier Ceylon, we know that this is not the truth. Since the food is grown organically, it might add some costs compared to the normal foods and vegetables you buy (the non-branded ones, especially). However, when you compare these organic foods with branded non-organic ones, there might not be much difference.
